For the outdoor bistro tablewith a difference, get the Indestructible Table by Aviad Gil. Constructed from a heady mix of violence, the blue tinted “ bulletproof glass of a volvo car, Ak-47 shots , epoxy, ink , and iron” as part of his “Conflict Collection” , this seems to be a social commentary on the state of affairs going on in the world nowadays.
Superimposed into the design is Aviad Gil’s own take on war but how it is interpreted is left entirely to the user. Influenced perhaps by his personal experiences in the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This is surely a work of art , a statement if you will rather then just an ordinary outdoor bistro table.
If your not into artistic value, get it anyway for the very very interesting gunshot traces on the glass. Fracture around the impact points just seem so right on the cool blue tinted glass. This is one fine looking table even if you ignore the arty farty side to it. Beside, who else can boast of a table that’s been really shot at aka gangster fight style. And if a real fight breaks out, at least you know you can duck behind and it’ll save you from Ak-47 bullets, the choice of crazy revolutionists everywhere.
